Common Connections is a quick one-to-one icebreaker and networking activity about getting to know your partner and finding as many common connections as you can within 5 minutes. Play with a group and have them break into partners or pairs and spend 5 minutes talking to each other to find their common connections. Participants will write down their partner's name and any connections they discover in one box on their sheet. When time is up, have people switch to new partners and repeat this process until all four boxes are filled. This activity takes roughly 20 minutes total and the goal is promote team-building and stronger connections and common ground amongst individuals in a group.

HOW TO PLAY...
Print off and distribute a "Common Connections" worksheet and writing utensil to everyone participating
Use the Instruction sheet to explain to everyone how the game works
Use the 5 minute time limit for each round or determine your own time limit
Have your group break into partners or pairs.
Start the activity and the timer for the round
Each partner set will attempt to find things they have in common and write them down on their sheet.
When time is up, switch partners and start the timer again. Keep doing rounds until everyone's sheet is full.
