Can you find your way back before the park closes for the night?
Puppy Panic is a pug themed escape room game perfect for a team building activity, icebreaker challenge, or party game. This timed activity can be played several ways...as a traditional escape room in which participants must complete the challenge before the clock runs out (30 minutes)...or as a competitive group against group (or individual against individual) challenge where whoever finishes first wins! You decide how you want to play!
Read aloud the included story sheet to setup the context of the game. You are a pug named Pickles who is on a walk at the park with your human. Suddenly you see a squirrel and take off after it, yanking the leash out of your human's hand and running off. After a few minutes you lose the squirrel and realize that you've become lost. Can you figure out how to backtrack and reunite with your human before dark falls and the park closes for the night?
This challenge includes 7 puzzles that must be solved before time runs out. This game can be played with any amount of players, but it is recommended to break up into small groups for the best play experience.
Play completion will vary depending on group age, skill level, and experience with puzzle solving. This activity is intended for a teenage or adult audience looking for a fun and unique team building activity or icebreaker challenge that will take approximately 30-40 minutes. The timed portion of this game is 30 minutes.
The activity is setup so that players will ONLY need to write on the provided recording sheets, rather than any of the puzzle sheets. This allows you to print off a majority of the activity sheets only once (or for however many groups you want to play with) and keep re-using them again and again...saving you time, ink, and paper. Printing on thicker paper like cardstock or laminating the re-usable sheets will make them last even longer.

HOW TO PLAY...
- Determine how many groups will be playing
- Follow the Instructions to prep for the game
- Setup trail markers sheets on a table for groups to see and prep copies of puzzle sheets and memory fragment cutouts (these will be handed out as groups solve puzzles and progress through the game)
- Break into small groups
- Read aloud the Story Intro sheet and distribute items when prompted
- Start the 30 minute countdown clock
- Facilitate the activity until a group has solved all the puzzles and finished the challenge
