Ghost in the Graveyard is a spooky themed printable escape room perfect for a Halloween group team building activity, icebreaker challenge, or party game. This timed activity can be played several ways...as a traditional escape room in which participants must complete the challenge before the clock runs out (30 minutes)...or as a competitive group against group (or individual against individual) challenge where whoever finishes first wins! You decide how you want to play!

Read aloud the included story sheet to setup the context of the game. You've just been hired as the night shift caretaker for Shadow Grove Cemetery. There is a ghost haunting the grounds that is trying to communicate with you. Can you find out what the ghost wants and stop the haunting?

This challenge includes 7 puzzles with a final lock combination that must be solved before time runs out. This game can be played with any amount of players, but it is recommended to break up into small groups for the best play experience.

Play completion time will vary depending on group age, skill level, and experience with puzzle solving. This activity is intended for a teen, young adult or adult audience looking for a unique team building activity or icebreaker challenge that will take approximately 30 minutes.

The activity is setup so that players will ONLY need to write on the provided recording sheets, rather than any of the puzzle sheets. This allows you to print off a majority of the activity sheets only once (or for however many groups you want to play with) and keep re-using them again and again...saving you time, ink, and paper. Printing on thicker paper like cardstock or laminating the re-usable sheets will make them last even longer.
